Sekund\u00e4re Stoffwechselprodukte von Pilz- und Bakterieninfektionen im Kork sind f\u00fcr den typischen Korkgeschmack im Wein verantwortlich. Die unangenehmste Substanz, die f\u00fcr den Qualit\u00e4tsverlust des Weins verantwortlich ist, ist 2,4,6 Trichloranisol (TCA). Weinspezialisten k\u00f6nnen bereits 2 ng \/ l dieser Substanz im Wein erkennen.   <\/p>\n<p>Das \u00fcberkritische CO2-Extraktionsverfahren von Diam Bouchage entfernt dieses unerw\u00fcnschte TCA aus dem Kork unterhalb der messbaren Grenze, die derzeit bei 0,2 ng\/l liegt. Das Korkgranulat wird in einen der 20 m\u00b3 gro\u00dfen Extraktoren gegeben und das CO2 wird erhitzt und in einen \u00fcberkritischen Zustand komprimiert, in dem es als L\u00f6sungsmittel dient. Dieses \u00fcberkritische CO2 wird in den Extraktor eingeleitet, wo es durch den Korken diffundiert und TCA und andere unerw\u00fcnschte Verbindungen extrahiert. Das CO2, das nun diese Verbindungen enth\u00e4lt, wird entspannt und in den gasf\u00f6rmigen Zustand zur\u00fcckgef\u00fchrt, wodurch die extrahierten Substanzen abgetrennt werden. Anschlie\u00dfend wird das CO2 gefiltert und zur Wiederverwendung recycelt, um sicherzustellen, dass die Korken frei von Verunreinigungen sind und ihre sensorische Neutralit\u00e4t bewahren.    <\/p>\n<p>Bei diesem Projekt wurden hochmoderne Energie- und CO2-R\u00fcckgewinnungssysteme installiert, um ein absolutes Minimum an Betriebskosten und Umweltbelastungen zu
