Multipurpose extraction plant

Supercritical extraction has several advantages compared to steam distillation and/or extraction with classical solvents (hexane, acetone, ethyl acetate):

no solvent residues
the extraction medium (CO2) is reused and does not cause any environmental problems
low process temperatures – fragrances and aromas stay unchanged
flavor uniformity
extracts are free of bacteria, mould, fungus and other contaminations associated with the raw material – sterilization effect
low storage costs
