Extraction plant for spices and herbs

This multi-purpose plant utilizes supercritical CO2 to produce high-quality extracts from botanical materials. This process is used to isolate and extract valuable compounds such as essential oils, flavors, and nutraceuticals. The CO2 acts as a solvent, efficiently extracting these compounds without the use of harmful chemicals, ensuring a pure and clean final product. The system is designed for high efficiency, minimal extraction times, and low energy consumption.

It does this in with 3 extractors with a effective volume of 300l and can operate up to a pressure of 500 bar from where it is depressurized into two separators to collect the extract. Valuable substances are gained without using any co-solvent. The extractors and one of the separators are equipped with an automatic quick acting closure for safe and easy handling. Dead space optimized and front flush instrumentation allows better cleaning of the plant. The complete unit is equipped with a modern control system. Raw materials are treated very gentle due to low process temperature which guarantees a natural flavor. The plant can be used for a wide range of natural products, such as:
